Kofi Adams, the national organiser of the
National Democratic Congress (NDC), has accused the government of
sending soldiers to raid his house.
He told an Accra-based Asempa FM on Wednesday
that soldiers numbering about 15, went to his house in the company of
some officials of the Driver and Vehicle Licencing Authority (DVLA)
and
made away with three pick-up vehicles and two Toyota Land Cruiser
vehicles, which he said belonged to his brother.
The
NDC organiser, who is currently in Dubai and spoke to Asempa FM on
phone, said the soldiers physically assaulted his security guard before
making away with the vehicles.
The soldiers, according to Adams, said they were taking the cars to the Flagstaff House.
The public affairs directorate of the Ghana Armed Forces has, however, denied that its soldiers were sent on such a mission.
